@Ruffsta... I’ll chip in my 2cts worth of comments
You might be lucky and find a soul mate with the same issue or interest in YOUR problem but it does not seem anyone here had enough interest in this to have purchased or be willing to purchase the same equipment as yours, just out of sheer generosity to solve YOUR ask.
I’ve been following this thread and seen you expecting basically a full working tutorial and code matching your specific needs... and that’s because one of your kid asked you to do something and you feel you are entitled to get that from the community of “those who can”? What will you do when your kid asks you to get a Porsche or Ferrari? Buy parts and go to a car enthusiast forum and ask them for help building the rest of the car? My recommendation would be to tell your kid to learn programming and arduino and do that project after learning. Not only will That will keep them busy with something smart, but who knows - may be get them a passion and launch them into a software engineering or inventor carreer - never too young to start...
You should have gotten by now that believing in entitlement does not go a long way here, everyone sweeps his/her own floor. Alienating the community won’t do much for you...
I feel you have a very fair offer from lastchance: buy a kit for him (and send him a good meal too since this is your skill set!) and you’ll get some code and wiring instructions back - I’m pretty sure it will work well - and you will feel good to have funded the tutorial you are asking for and done well for the ones in the same situation as you are
This attitude will go much further than complaining you are not being helped and everyone needs to bend to YOUR way of seeing how this should be done and harassing participants with PM...
