conector for 18x2fh8.5 arduino mega

Good morning:

I would like to add my mega arduino with an external card and can not find cable or connector to do so. My idea is to connect a cable to the connector arduino 18x2fh8.5 and I am not able to find a suitable connector . Could you tell me some reference valid ?

I think he may be referring to the 18 x 2 connector at the end of the board but not sure.
f8.5 , 8.5 mm would appear to be the height of the connector

Yes, it is the connector on the back of arduino , I would connect a cable to connect it to a board "homemade" and I do not know the reference connector

As far as I know, there is no 36 pin (2x18) for flatcable.

Alternative is to make a small PCB with a double row header like Break-away 0.1 2x20-pin Strip Dual Male Header : ID 2822 : $0.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits (cut to 36 pinds) and a 40 pin IDC connector (or less whatever suites your needs) or simply solder a flatcable to that PCB.

Arduino uses a couple of odd 'ideas' like this 36 pin and the spacing between the connectors at one side of the board.
