I would like to connect an IR sensor to my arduino UNO board but I can't get any information from my sensor. I don't if I connected right or if there are other problem. I just want to turn on/off a LED.
Does anyone have the answer???
No answer, but a question. HOW do you know it's an IR sensor?

Please post a link to the specification of the sensor you are using and a diagram showing how it is connected. And also post the code you are using to try to read it (in </> code tags please).
Then we have a chance of explaining what is going wrong.
