Connect LCD DEM16217 to Arduino?

Hello,

as an absolute newbie, I would like to connect an DEM16217 LCD to the Arduino board.
Could somebody please help me with information on which pins to connect?

This display appears to use an HD44780 compatible controller. If you do a search for HD44780 LCD you will find lots of information. Try the Arduino LiquidCrystal library. The current version has some problems but it may work with your display.
