Connecting Adafruit QI wireless charging transmitter to Arduino Uno

Hey guys,

I’m a complete beginner in the world of Arduino so forgive me if i’m not making any sense. I’m doing a project where i plan on having a wireless phone charger control the colour of an RGB led light strip when a phone is placed on it. I bought the Adafruit QI wireless charging transmitter for this.

I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on how to best connect this to my arduino uno and how i could make this work coding-wise as i don’t have too much knowledge. I know i’m going to have to solder it but i’m not sure what part of the transmitter i will have to solder/if this matters.

Again, sorry if this sounds stupid or doesnt make any sense i’m a complete newbie. Thank you!

You choose a product without any useful technical information. Even an experienced hacker will have problems in finding out the right connections, if they ever exist :frowning:

A DC current sensor in the power supply to the transmitter may provide a usable signal.
