Connecting Atmel ICE with Arduino MKR Zero ; Viewing in Arduino Pro IDE

I have purchased Arduino Zero MKR board instead of Zero, as it was not available in stock (seems Arduino is not making it any more). I was interested in using the Arduino Pro feature of the pro IDE. So I purchased Atmel ICE debugger. Arduino MKR Zero has debug pin. When I am connecting it to the debugger and debugging the board in Arduino pro IDE, it is not uploading the data nor going into debug mode.

Arduino Zero has inbuild Atmel debugger. Arduino Zero MKR can be connected with debugger and it should work in Arduino Pro IDE (this was my initial premises). Let me know if I am wrong or any extra information is needed.
In Atmel ICE debugger - center red light was constant on.
