Connecting Bluetooth to LCD Keypad Shield

Hello, Arduino beginner here.

So I have a LCD Keypad Shield mounted on top of an Arduino Uno, and I'm trying to connect a serial 4-pin HC-06 Bluetooth module to it.

I know I'm suppose to connect Tx to Rx and vice versa, vcc to 5v and ground to ground; but will connecting to those pins on the keypad shield have the same effect?

There should be no problem. The pins not used by the LCD are pass-through for other items. It is good practice to put a 1k/2k voltage divider on Arduino Tx.
