I would like to connect a microphone to an Arduino Uno, However the microphone will fluctuate between positive and negative voltages, and the analog in is only meant for positive voltages. Could I connect 3.3v to the speaker and then to the analog in so it would become 3.3v +/- the microphone? Or would that wreck the board? (If there is another easy way to do this I would appreciate that as well.)

IS there another way? Perhaps, if you told us the purpose of connecting a microphone to an Arduino. Also what type of a microphone and will you be using an amplifier with the microphone.
