Quick question here. I have a Ethernet shield and the Arduino Mega Pro mounted to a PCB. Everything is working mostly fine. I have a quick question regarding connecting the reset pins together.
Should I tie the Arduino's and the Ethernet shield's reset pin together? Or should I connect the Ethernet's shield to a pin on the Mega Pro? Or should I leave them not connected?
What are you trying to accomplish?
Is the Ethernet reset the same active polarity as the Mega Pro? The Mega resets on a LOW to the reset pin (active low). Does the Ethernet, too?
That is a good question, I have not checked...
In other words, the Mega resets when connected to GND.
