Connecting Wii Balance Board via USB to computer

Hello,

I am new to this.
What I am trying to do is to connect a wii balance board via a wire so the datas don't pass through bluetooth. With the window 10 and the changing bluetooth protocols, there's no way to connect the WBB to the PC (I've tried with a bluetooth dongle, also via a wiimote program). So maybe it is possible to add a USB port to the WBB. I've opened the WBB (see pictures attached), and there are a UART Tx and UART Rx port in the batterie card. Do you think adding a USB bridge connection could allow a communication between the sensors and a PC ?

The final goal is to use the WBB as a joystick with the Wii Balance Walker App and to extract the datas from the sensors. For now the app can't connect the WBB because it doesn't appear in the DIH list (even if the computer detects the WBB, it says it needs to be updated).

I've seen several unanswered topics on a similar issue, maybe the pictures can help.

Thanks for reading !

apparently there is an app for Android 4.1 and below that works with the Wii Balance Board.

Not sure what it is or what you want to do with it, but I would look around for an older smartphone.

.

Thank you, it migth help to look at the code.

I am trying to use a wii board with the new bluetooth protocols (which are incompatible together). The wbb would be used as a way to direct yourself in a virtual environment with a headset on. I am using a Rog Strix Scar II.
