Connection for l293d motor shield

I am new in using arduino.
I want to use l293d motor driver shield but it is occupying all power pins like 5v, 3.3v, gnd ,vcc.
So how can I use these pins for other purposes.

Hi,
You don't power the motor sheild from the Arduino!! Never! power it from a seperate supply. By the way the L293 is a poor motor driver, lose too much power on the output, try something like a small module with a FET output, much smaller, etc.
