Hello, I'm in the process of creating my racing simulation steering wheel using Arduino (Arduino Leonardo) and I will use a motor to create dynamic force feedback. The problem I'm encountering is the connection between a motor and a driver board (the links to both products are at the bottom of this explanation). Indeed, the motor has 4 wires which I don't know what they mean. Additionally, the motor has 4 wires compared to 2 for the driver board. Can you enlighten me on the subject of connecting these two components?
Yes, I thought I understood the color story, but I don't see how to properly connect the servo motor and the motor driver since they don't have the same number of inputs and outputs.
A stepper motor is no good for force feedback as it's torque is not easily controlled. It can return the wheel to centerline but with fixed, not variable force.
