How to connect it to a Arduino pro mini or Standalone board ???

You could try this first
Or do what I did which was search google for " usb to ttl convertor arduino "
Once you have results in google then also click googles " images " link too
HOWEVER I am not sure that is the device you may want to use with the mini or standalone.
I would be looking at an ICSP device. myself.
