Contactor-Button triggered Status Change

Hi Community,

i think what i will describe is a very simple problem but at the moment i have less than little time.
I am totally new in hardware near programming so don't be to harsh on me.
I have a BT-V06 and i want to have On/Off Button triggered Status changes.
I want to have 4 to 5 Contactor-Triggers connected with the board with which i can switch between 4 to 5 statuses. I addition i want to have LEDs which signal in which mode the board is.
I have no clue how to connect the Contactor-Buttons with the Board and the LEDs with the Board an so on. (every detail needed like resistors etc.)
A recommendation about how to implement the software side would also be nice.

P.S: I don't know the exact word for Contactor-Button. I hope you know what i mean. I think of these little "Buttons" which can be On and Off and have three different entries. (what are they for?)
