There is an IoT platform stack that has been built internally that supports connected devices deployed on ground in the field. These devices range across types from simple to complex - from temperature monitoring sort of solutions to recipe cooking solutions, within our kitchen framework.
The platform mainly consists of two main assets - A backend portal --> server which talks to a --> front end Android App. These two conjointly bring together the user flow that finally interacts with the end, on ground machines.
Internally we are trying to come up with some innovative solutions in solving the below specific use case and would like your help , knowledge and expertise on that.
How do we push a hex file from android to an arduino microcontroller. Communication today happens over Serial. This is essentially an OTA sort of use case where the firmware upgrade may need to be done and this file needs to be passed onto the MCU.
