Control LCD pixels with Rotary Angle Sensor?

Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out how to print a single pixel onto an RGB Backlgit LCD screen. I know there are functions for printing strings to the screen, but what about a single pixel?

I'm trying to make a small game on the screen that involves being able to move one pixel around the screen using the Rotary Angle Sensor.

I've been searching around for some kind of API for each of the components that come with the Grove Starter Kit but I couldn't find one. If there is an API of available functions that I could look at that would be great!

Thanks for your time!

Which LCD?
Which library?

I'm not sure of the exact make of the LCD. I know it came with the Grove Starter Kit Gen 2.

You can find it here:
http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/Grove_-Starter_Kit_v3#Grove-_LCD_RGB_Backlight

The one above shows v2.0 wile mine is v4.0

Hope that helps.

That looks to me suspiciously like a character-only LCD.

I’m still not completely convinced of that.
I found one function called lcd.write(1) which did write a single dot.

Do any of those components have APIs that I can look at just so I could see a list of available functions?

I'm sorry, I don't have that starter kit, and I don't have any of the libraries.
When you started the thread, I thought is was graphical RGB LCD, but it looks to me like a regular 16x2 with an RGB backlight.
