Control of an actuator via Arduino and suitable LIN file

Hello, everyone,

there is a LIN bus board for the Arduino. You can buy it, but I haven't found any example code or instructions. I have here an actuator and an LDF file for it. With NI or Vector software I can control the whole thing. But I think it would be great if I could operate and program the actuator without 1000 dollar expensive control devices. Therefore I would be infinitely grateful if someone could tell me how to control the actuator with the appropriate LIN file. Thanks in advance!

Please explain for us ignorant folks what a LIN file is and what a LIN bus board is. A link to the specifications would be a big help

You link a board that costs less than 20quid and then state your looking for something less than $1000…
