Controling a cnc backgadge servo?

I have a servo moter that is on a cnc back gadge, and I would like to interdface and control it with a arduino. How would I go about controling it? Would a available moter shield run it? I am confident that I can write the code to run it, but I am unclear with the electronics.
There are 4 wires coming of the servo, plus there is a brake which I will have to deal with later.

The tag on the moter says:

Why not do a google search to see if you can find a datasheet for that motor. It will be easier to answer your question if you can provide technical details on that motor.
