Controling an ac ac regulator

I am making an battery powered reflector, with the battery going into an inverter which then powers a led reflector after an ac ac regulator that has an adjustable resistor which i am trying to control by the arduino. But I dont fully understand how to do the that.

I'm sorry, but this is not Hogwarts. You are going to have to explain to us muggles what all that means.

Amplifier? Photo-optic isolator?

I am failing to guess the technical translation of "reflector" from colloquial Polish.

It is a 150w led reflector powered by an 120 Ah 12V battery

Well i am trying to control the lighting output of the led reflector which the ac ac voltage regulator does via an adjustable resistor, but i dont understand how i would replace the adjustable resistor in a way for it to be controled by the arduino.

What is this in technical terms? Reflectors are passive. Use translate.google.com to translate from your language.

Welcome! Reflectors do not emit light, they just reflect it. Post a schematic of what you are trying to explain. Show current and voltage levels, those items are very important.

I'm sorry. To much meaning is getting lost in translation.

A led reflector(a board with 144 led light infuesed into it) that consumes about 150 watts of power on a 230 V and 0.6 A.

It is a board with 144 leds attached to it

I am sorry for being bad at explaining my problem

Why not give us the part number and even a schematic if available.

Klieglight.

Pretty much the same thing but from a differnt manufactorer.

If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to dim. Those lights are (usually?) not dimmable by varying the AC voltage. You can verify with the manufacturer.

so you connect 12 V DC battery to 230 V AC and then the 'reflector' converts the 230 V AC back to maybe 12 V DC for the LEDs. maybe get a 12 V 'reflector'.

I plug the 12V dc battery into an inverter which then brings it to 230 V AC, after which it goes to a ac ac voltage regulator with which i am able to control the brightness output, the problem i have run into is how would i replace the potetiometer on the ac ac voltage regulator to something with which i could control it viy arduino.

It is 12V DC reflector which i did want to get the, problem i ran into was that the reflector converts AC to DC in the board itself as in it is infused so i fixed the battery to reflector issue by getting an inverter which fixed it.

I am just trying to figure out how to replace the potetiometer on the ac voltage regulator, with a part that would be controled by arduino.

I would like to control and regulate(dimm control) my 200w LED reflector (a board with 144 leds infused into it that accepts 230 VAC, because it has an ac to dc converter in the board), I know it is possible to regulate it by voltage regulation because i tested it by using an ac ac voltage regulator. But i am wondering how could i use the arduino to control that digitaly since the end goal is to control it by a photosensor connected to arduino.
