Controling an ac ac regulator

You have to know, is your converter "dimmable" or not.
Most LED lamp drivers will attempt to preserve a stable current through the lamp despite your attempts at dimming. So nothing good will come of the idea.
Dimmable drivers can recognize dimming attempts and respond to them. Or the lamp driver must have a special input (usually a 0-10V signal) to change the brightness.

In case of "dimmable" driver you can find a lot of project in google by "arduino dimmer control" or something like

The dimmer circuit is attached to a 110-220 Voltage. Do not build this if you are not confident about what you are doing.

Yes it is dimmable since the ac ac voltage regulator has been able to adjust the brightness output, via volatge regulation. You mentioned dimmer control, what exactly would you recommend if i were to build with it.

Please do not duplicate your questions as doing so wastes the time and effort of the volunteers trying to help you as they are then answering the same thing in different places.

Please create one topic only for your question and choose the forum category carefully. If you have multiple questions about the same project then please ask your questions in the one topic as the answers to one question provide useful context for the others, and also you won’t have to keep explaining your project repeatedly.

Repeated duplicate posting could result in a temporary or permanent ban from the forum.

Thank you.

Are you sure it is a variable resistor? And not a variable tansformer? (Also known as variac?).

That's my guess.
