Controling steering angle

Hi. I’m looking to somehow control the steering angle of my car. My ros based script is providing the angle for steering 0-180. My existing car model is around 40kgs. Any ideas on what should I deploy for it? The servo won’t work due to the excessive load.

Are you sure that your steering mechanism is capable of a full 180 swing? That sounds extreme if it is based on the normal rack and pinion system used in cars.
