Hello,
I wanted to control a ( 220v / 55watt ) fan with Arduino & Relay that works as a switch.
Here is the connection I plan to make in the picture one & picture two in the attachments
Before I work with this connection I wanted to remove the relay and make the fan works directly ( without controlling it just for testing that I don't have any problems ), So I worked with a very very simple connection in the picture three in the attachments. As not expected, It made a loud voice ( boom ) but the fan worked !
I'm wondering why it's made that voice ? Is there any problems with the way I connected the wires with ?
Here is a near picture of the wires I'm using in the picture 4 in the attachments
Notice: I know that it's not safe to use the wires in this way as it can lead to death if I touched it, but it was just for a minuite testing and I was away of it, I turned off all main flat power and connected the things to outlet then turned on the main flat power to hear that voice and turned it off again to remove the connection..
