Controlling 3 DC Motors attached to Wheels, with Arduino Uno

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to working with microcontrollers and was wondering if anyone could help guide me or direct me somewhere to help with a project I'm working on.
From what I've researched online, what I'm trying to do seems fairly simple for someone who has much more experience than I do with this topic.

I'm trying to create a self-propelled vehicle that will be made up of 3 wheels with the motors attached to each wheel. I have a SunFounder starter kit with an Arduino Uno and the other basic materials that came along with it. I also have a 4 AA Battery Holder to power the motors.

I just need the vehicle to travel for 10 feet and come to a stop.
Any advice or help (besides saying "Google it") would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Danny

What part are you having trouble with?
.

I honestly just don't know how to put the circuit together. I've tried finding what I've been looking for all weekend on online tutorials and youtube videos, but it always ends up not being what I'm looking for or it turns out to be something far more complicated than what I'm trying to do
