...in realtime! Any suggestions on whether we can get this done with the TLC5940 (with cascading)? Or the RainbowDuino?

We are also wondering about current problems and what kind of power supplies we might need. The project is in the planning stage, so any information would really help us out.

It is possible with the TLC5940, but it doesn't use analog pins.
