Controlling a Neato robot Mega ADK using on-board USB host

I would like to use the USB host on-board to make a connection to a Neato robot.

Has anyone done this? I don't need the lidar information, just control through Neatos API

I need a code example on how to initiate the connection send a command from the Mega's USB host.

Sorry to burst your balloon but there is no on board USB Host. The USB is a SLAVE port. You need a USB HOST SHIELD.

So the USB female A port is a slave?
