I have just stared at the schematic for the last few hours and can't quite make sense of it yet

But I would be stoked if I could somehow hack into the circuit and have it remember the power setting and turn it on/off.
I'm just scared I'll break something (in the induction cooker) so I want to be sure before I implement any tests.
