hello!
I have to open/close 12 big boxes, with arduino, and i have a mechanical problem.
i was wondering if anyone knows an electronical hinge point systeme, to control the open/close for the boxes or something that i can control that opens//closes boxes.

Are they cardboard boxes? How heavy is the lid?
If they're not heavy you could probably rig up a simple 4 bar crank-rocker mechanism and link it to a small stepper. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9a/Linkage_four_bar.png
If you give me the dimensions i have software that'll easily size it up for you.
