controlling CNC Spindle

hey there, I have purchased a DC motor spindle for my CNC project. It also came with a controller. I wanted to know can I connect this controller to the arduino directly? or should I connect to a motor shield first like L298N Dual H Bridge and then connect that to arduino? I have attached the image of my motor and controller. Thank You

As far as I can see that controller fulfils the same role as an L298 - but probably much better - and can connect directly to the Arduino.

Can you post a link to its datasheet?

...R

bought this from a chinese website so couldnt find its datasheet unfortunately. but i think its advantage is it can handly upto 48V... because the motors voltage rating is from 12v-48v... i will try to connect it directly to the arduino. thanks for the reply.. appreciate it

The PWM +/- pins are probably opto-isolated, a better picture of the board would help
clarify that.
