I have made the connections using the below link and is trying to control using I2C
Draw a schematic of your interface to the motor including your power supply connections with pen and paper and take a photo of it and post the photo.
Post your code you used to try to drive the motor using I2c.
Have you thought of using an RC low pass filter to convert PWM to analog to drive the motor ?
