I already converted my uno to 3.3v and it's pretty easy. Despite some people saying it shoudl not work with a clock of 16mhz at 3.3v it works amazingly well.
They often do work at least for a while, but are outside of specification.
If you dont mind the prospect of your project stopping working at random, then fine.
