You could try using the float version of map (paste the function inbetween setup() and loop()):

{
  
  int raw = analogRead(analoginput);
  float val = fmap(raw, 0, 1023, 0.0, 5.0);
  Serial.println(val); //voltage
  delay(1000);
}

float fmap(float x, float in_min, float in_max, float out_min, float out_max)
{
  return (x - in_min) * (out_max - out_min) / (in_max - in_min) + out_min;
}
