Converting normally close switch to normally open

I have a normally close switch and I want to convert it to a normally open one. I have some relay but I don't know how I can use them to do this. Also, I don't want current to be flowing in when the switch is normally closed as I will be using batteries and don't want them to drain for no reason. Hoping for quick replies as this is a bit urgent.

I think you have ruled out the only way you could do it.

Is the switch supplying current to some device, or is it possibly providing a logic signal to -- for example -- a digital input to an Arduino?

Buy a normally open switch.

Edit: I assume this is a self canceling switch.
If it is just a regular toggle switch, just turn the switch around
