CoolTerm can't see the XBee

Hi all,
I just got a couple of XBee's and tried to set them up using CoolTerm, as I have a mac and no pc, but coolterm can't even see the xbee. I checked it with my arduino and coolterm could see the serial port through which arduino is talking with the computer, but no luck with the xbee. I'm using xbee series 1 chip antenna. Anyone had any similar problem or knows how to solve this?

How is the XBee connected to the PC?

Via usb, but it's a mac. Anyway, I did a bit of searching and downloaded some drivers and now it can see it.
