corona nerf battle

me and a friend want to have a nerf battle and sence im getting into Arduino and we cant leave the house I came up with a design we'll have a rc car at each house and the rc car will represent a person. so when I move at my house the rc car at my friends house moves in that derection that exact distance using GPS. there will be a nerf gun on the top of the car and when I pull the trigger on my nerf gun it will send a signal 5 miles to my friends house whare the Arduino will tell a servo to move pulling a wire cunected to the car nerf gun trigger. there will be a phone on my gun so I can see through a camra on car. I only just got into Arduino and being about 10 I think im in over my head. also I need to use a antenna and a receiver.

I think you are right. You probably want to start with something a little simpler and learn the ropes first. What you describe is a pretty complicated project even for an expert. Getting exact GPS readings indoors is not going to happen, not to the resolution that you are imagining with this car. You'll need another way to track movement. Maybe make them remote controlled and put both cars in a common location and play car vs car.

ya I was thinking I would set it up out side I have a huge gravel driveway and my friend has a pascher and a 3D printer so I should be able to make it water proof but I mite have to make a more acerite system thanks for the input

It seems you're thinking of two pairs of cars, that each have to mimic the other pair's movements. That's hard, very hard.

Positioning itself is hard - GPS is accurate to no better than a few meters, typical is 5m off but it depends on sky conditions, general environment (high rise buildings, trees, power lines), how many satellites happen to be visible, the constellation they're in, and probably a few other factors.

Then there's the communication between the two sides, and the navigation to the desired relative locations...

yes that is correct I im thinking of 2 cars thanks for the input I think im gonna see if I can some how create a new tracking system Instead of GPS like with a areil view using a drone or something that should be more acerite then GPS

There's Pozyx.

The price reflects the difficulty of the problem.

ya I looked at pozyx but im looking to not spend 1 hundred bucks on this project though
