Could i measure the Arduino current when i powering it from the usb ?

To measure the arduino current at the normal mode and the different sleeping modes :
should i supply the arduino with external voltage and connect to the source series ameter ?
or there is a way to measure the current when supply it with usb ?

Yes, make up a lead where you cut the 5V line and insert a current meter into that.

That is what I said, there is no way you can do this unless you want to cut tracks on the Arduino board which, given your reluctance to cut a lead, I guess you don't want to do.

Look you asked for advice, why do you not believe it when you are given it. Maybe you think I am a liar, or you think I know little, you would be wrong on both counts.

Have you got £800 to spair? If so you could buy a current probe for your oscilloscope. But there is no way to measure the current of this chip from any internal features that the chip has.
