To measure the arduino current at the normal mode and the different sleeping modes :
should i supply the arduino with external voltage and connect to the source series ameter ?
or there is a way to measure the current when supply it with usb ?
should i supply the arduino with external voltage and connect to the source series ameter ?
Yes.
there is a way to measure the current when supply it with usb ?
Yes, make up a lead where you cut the 5V line and insert a current meter into that.
but i can't cut the usb wire
MohammedSayedHemed:
but i can't cut the usb wire
Why not? I did.
is there any other way , except cutting the usb cable or by using any feature of the board or Exploit any pins like reset pins or any software secure me from cutting the cable ? ?
Buy one of these:-
I realy thank you :] but i want another thing would be ? or it's impossible ?
What does this mean?
but i want another thing would be ?
there is no way to do that by the pins of arduino board ?
Correct there is no way to do that by the pins of arduino board ?
yes this which i mean
That is what I said, there is no way you can do this unless you want to cut tracks on the Arduino board which, given your reluctance to cut a lead, I guess you don't want to do.
So i keep calm
but what about the relationship between the internal temperature of the arduino processor which you can know it by the software :] ? and there is strong relationship between the current and the temperature .
and there is strong relationship between the current and the temperature .
No.
what ?!!
There is no strong relationship between the current drawn and the temprature measured internally.
Look you asked for advice, why do you not believe it when you are given it. Maybe you think I am a liar, or you think I know little, you would be wrong on both counts.
Have you got £800 to spair? If so you could buy a current probe for your oscilloscope. But there is no way to measure the current of this chip from any internal features that the chip has.
I don't think in the two things which you mentioned , i just discuss
and thanks a lot for advice so look at this to no the relationship between the T & A

I give up. You seem to understand little.
Good night.
sorry if i making you annoyed ,
and i really thank you for help me
don't be sad as i just discuss in the science ,,
best wishes ,
