Countdown timer that counts up when pressure switch released (Timeout Chair)

I want to construct a timeout chair for my daughter that would have a pressure sensor switch under the seat. The time would be set on an LCD display and start button pushed once she is sitting down. If she gets up out of the chair I want it to activate an alarm and also add time to the timer, maybe second for second or every second is 10 seconds. I can do it pretty easy until it comes to the timer adding time. Any help would be appreciated.

What have you done so far, and what is giving you problems?

I have wired it all with just a countdown but i want a way for it to add time and specifically 10 sec for every 1 second that the load sensor is open
