Counting thorugh a sensor and using the value for some calculation in a web page

Hello everybody,

I am new into this Arduino coding. I just want to know how I can take the count from a sensor and use it for some calculation( calculation; I will type a value[X], sensor count/ X) and display in a web page using ESP8266-12E. Please help
