Covid 19, nothing to fear

I am happy to report that my youngest son has had the first jab. Basically it was needed for something he wanted to do. In this case travel to another country to do a winter season ( he is a chef ) and the travel restrictions required the vaticinations. So that gave him the motivation he needed.

So restricting the things you can do without getting the vaticinations, provided the motivation. It is a shame that this sort of thing has become a political issue in the U.S.

In the U.K. the government has tended to not bring in legislation to require this sort of thing, but has encouraged individual businesses to apply these sort of restrictions. Thus removing the politics from the situation.

So there is a restriction coming in soon about people who work in care homes for the elderly needing to be vaccinated. Imposed not by the government but by the overseeing body for care homes. Apparently this will result in quite a number of people leaving their low paid jobs, so people are saying the already understaffed sector can't afford to loose these jobs. But the mood of the general public is that we can't afford to have unvaccinated people looking after the elderly.
