Pfizer are applying here in Australia to be able to administer a 3rd jab.

I had my booster a while ago, but it seems there was a mixup because of a typo on the vaccine vial, so now I'm immune to crows, magpies and ravens.

I seems that in the UK the only current plan to quell the rising tide of infections is to restrict the distribution of the booster until at least 6 months after you have had the 2nd jab.
If you have stock of the jabs, you might think there would be benefit in using them ASAP.

@LarryD I'm sorry to hear about your friend. The untimely departure of somebody close to us is always a sad thing regardless of the cause, be it covid, some other ilness, something else entirely. Unfortunately, this covid thing has turned into a highly political and divisive matter. People on both sides don't hesitate to insult or ridicule their opponents.
I do have very strong opinions regarding the covid crisis and its consequences, but I'm reluctant to reveal them here. I also prefer not to share whether I got the vaccine or not, save amongst very close friends and relatives. I've gotten involved in countless arguments about it, at varying levels of animosity, and I have no desire to rekindle anything of the sort on a forum about programming and electronics. It strikes my as particularly out of place to do so upon the news of a man's death, even if I didn't know him any more than I know the people he left behind.

1 -- This is The Bar, that part of the forum to let your hair down and hope that some traumatized little Hall Monitor doesn't try and get you banned. The only time I remember Anyone getting banned here was that pedo trying to discuss pedo and the reaction was almost universally GTFO.
2 -- It was his BROTHER who died over can't go the hospital yet, it's packed with COVID-deniers.

Oi! Here in Idaho, where they don't believe COVID is real but there is no room at the hospitals, to get a life savings surgery one has to drive to a California hospital.

The GOP is building up to a civil war, maybe Russian or Chinese troops will give them support and help install a puppet dictatorship. They hate democracy too.
It's not actually a lie; any live voter is inherently more "dangerous" than a sick or dead voter.

Here in Brazil, vaccination has greatly reduced cases of covid.
There are already big cities that are not having serious cases of covid.
For example, in Rio de Janeiro, hospitals had exclusive beds for covid patients. (ICU Intensive Care Unit)
Today there are no more cases of covid hospitalized in the ICU;
The covid transmission index in Brazil is below 0.68.
And this happened, (large volume of vaccination), despite our president being against the vaccine.
A large part of the population understands the need for the vaccine.
