After start of the IDE rc5 nightly build from 16.March 2022 it crashed. I started it with a different explorer called "explorer++". Unfortunatelly the crash caused several damages. The exe of explorer++ was deleted/damaged, two exe-files missing "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Arduino15packages\builtin\tools\mdns-discovery\1.0.5\mdns-discovery\mdns-discovery.exe" and "C:\Users\{Benutzername}\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\builtin\tools\serial-discovery\1.3.2\serial-discovery.exe". Thats why the IDE couldn't find any communication port for uploads etc. anymore.
You can find zip-files with the lost exe-files in the directory "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Arduino15\staging\packages": "mdns-discovery_v1.0.5_Windows_64bit.zip" and "serial-discovery_v1.3.2_Windows_64bit.zip". Copy the exe-files to the specific folders and restart the IDE.
If you delete the "..\Arduino15\.." folder it is rewritten during the next start of the IDE, but some information, libs etc. are lost. The solution above saves some time...
