Hello all,
Perhaps you can help out a relative Arduino novice.
I want to create an LED-based frequency scope/display using an Arduino board. In other words, first send live audio frequency data via SimpleMessageSystem/OSC to the Arduino, this part is not a problem.
I am a little stuck as to how to proceed though. I want to have - ideally - 16 or more columns of 6-8 LEDs, with the number of lit LEDs being individually controllable in each column, allowing me to visualize the amount of energy in each frequency band of the sound.
It does not matter if the LEDs are attached to a breadboard, or part of an external LED matrix, or some other solution.
Any thoughts or suggestions about this project, and the best way to proceed if it is possible to, would be very much appreciated.
Best,
Rob
