I meant to create a system that uses improved haptic cues for cyclist safety in the Cooperative - V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) system because research shows that using visuals can distract cyclists. In addition, while the literature had worked on using Lidars, I thought that the issue being reported i.e, the range limit of 40m can be extended for the proper field of view. if so, how do we go about it in terms of getting sensors needed and implementation? I have no idea what you are trying to do . You need to be more specific about what you want to do - what sensors , measuring what , to perform what function and what output .
From what I can make out, your idea looks pretty complex , maybe too complex .
