Creating/Writing File with Nano

Hey,

I'm pretty sure the Yun comes with nano on the linino side - i also did opkg install nano and it said it was already installed and up-to-date. I'm trying to create a file via the linino side of my Yun but I can't seem to get nano to work. I keep getting this error:

Error opening terminal: xterm-256color.

Does anyone know what that means?

For what it's worth I hit the same error. Vi works, if you can deal with its usage.
