Crimp Connector Help!

Hello!

I feel a little silly asking this question, but as I am thoroughly confused, I thought I would just ask it anyways. Better safe than sorry :person_shrugging:.

I bought these connectors on Amazon, but I used all of the male pins for other things! I am trying to replace them, but I would like to buy them bulk from DigiKey or the like.

I found the crimp pin connector section on DigiKey, but I dont think I can find a match for the amazon ones. I found one that I think matches, but not all of the parts are identical.

What am I looking for when trying to match them? Or does anyone have any that they already buy?

Thanks in advance!

What were the other things that you used the pins for ?

I ask because if you can find pins that fit that other device then they will obviously fit the Molex connector

It looks like it's this one: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/molex/0039000121/3160065

Not 100% sure since the overall length matches the dimension on the datasheet but the pin length is 2mm off what the Amazon listing says, but without a part number, who knows?

I have a strip of them hanging from the wall, but I probably tossed the label with part number. Word to the wise: be sure to buy the bulk packaging if you don't have an automatic crimper.

Hello @UKHeliBob!

I used the male pins for another molex connector that connects to a linear actuator.

I also couldn’t find pins for that connector either; hence the reason I used the pins for that other connector lol.

Hello @cedarlakeinstruments

Thanks! That connector looks almost identical. Ill try it and report back .
