Crypto chip - configuration error

Hi All,

I tried to configure my brand new mrk1010 board on the IoT cloud, but every time I se my board there are some problems related to the crypto chip (see attached).

What can I do to figure out what's going on?

Additional infos:

  1. I've already updated WiFiNina (1.2.1)
  2. I've been following this (IoT Cloud - Getting Started | Arduino Project Hub) getting started guide

Thank you!

update 1: from another PC I have successfully configured my board. I'll try to understand why from my primary pc it didn't work and i'll post here my conclusions

Hi @Stecolo, sorry for the late answer! Did you find out what was the entity of your problem? It could happen sometimes that the configurations fails when you have the serial monitor open on other applications (e.g.: the desktop IDE).

No, i don't! It might be something related to my desktop pc. I do a lot of experiments on it, so there might be some kind of conflicts.

Btw, no problem at the moment.

I'll let you know if I figure out what was going on

Wasn't able to configure crypto chio nether from PC nor from Mac. Same error on both:

"We weren't able to configure the Crypto Chip. compilation error".

Any suggestion?

Thanks, e.

Make sure you don't have anything connected to pins 11 and 12 on your board.

The MKR boards come with their pins inserted into black anti-static foam. This foam is conductive so you need to remove the board from the foam before using it.

Make sure you don't have the board sitting on any conductive objects that might short the pins or contacts on the bottom of the board.

If you have not done so already, try updating the Firmware on the MKR WiFi 1010.

I find with the MKR WiFi 1010 and MKR1000, if they are stuck trying to connect or something related, running this process seems to clear the issue.

Also, try double clicking the reset button on top of the board and then run the Add Device process to see if that clears the issue.
