is it okay if one pin has contact with metal case of oscillator?
in this case it's 16mhz 2 pin oscillator
Not recommended
The crystal case, if utilized, should be grounded. The case should never be connected to either of the 2 leads ... because of capacitance which likely will cause the crystal to operate at a slightly lower frequency.
