Current control bldc with none-phase-current

Hey folks,
I have bldc motor and I want to implement a current-control (Torque-control). I am measuring the current drawn from the power supply. So not each phase current. Can I still use the measured current which is before the 3 phase inverter to implement some kind of Torque-control. Is there a fixed relationship between the phase currents and the current coming from the power supply?

Thanks so much

Sort of.

Not really.

Why don't you try it?

From the zero information given about your "bldc" and "3-phase inverter" I can't tell what you can and can't control. Most of my bldcs are driven by ESCs and I can control them fairly easily.
