Current measurment

Hello, I want to read the current of the torque motor in the attachment.
150W, 9A torque motor.

I want to design a circuit using Arduino for this. The torque motor driver is external. Therefore, the system we will set up will be connected in series to the driver output.
Can you help me design the circuit diagram?

Find a hall-effect current sensor like ACS712 suitable for the current range of your motor.
Circuit is simple.

You need the 20 A version of the ACS712

I can recommend these if you want to use the I2C interface rather than ADCs

What accuracy and precision do you need?
Is +/- 500mA accuracy good enough?

Frankly, we had a hard time finding a driver for this torque motor. That's why I wrote to ask if the relevant product is compatible. Also, the motor works with 24 vdc voltage. The Arduino circuit is 5v, will this cause a problem? Will the module I want to use work under 24 v module voltage? If the product you recommend is OK under these conditions, can you draw me a simple circuit diagram?

24V side is not connected to 5V arduino side. The sensor doesn't even know the voltage of the circuit, it's using hall-effect sensor to sense current.

In your case "load" is your motor and "battery" is your driver.

We want it to be a product that can be broken. Our external plc line is fed with 24 v input and output. We want to send some outputs to it. In short, we thought of 2 24 v inputs to the circuit. That motor does not fit my idea of a torque motor, it has a stall current rating of 78 Amps. In my understanding, a torque motor is able to produce a variable torque at standstill continuously without damage to brushes / commutator or overheating.

How can you find 78 amps? In photo ı can see 9.5 a. I am little bit confused. On the other hand ı am sure this is torque motor. but as ı mention before, We had a hard time finding a driver. only one yaskawa driver drive this motor. I am not sure how can ı measure and set this motor value robustly.
