So our project wants to control an adapter that we will make depending on the AQI level gathered by the air purifier (arduino uno r3). For example, the monitoring unit (arduino nano) will send signal to this current regulator when the monitoring unit receives data from the air purifier (arduino uno). High AQI = on current , Low AQI = the adapter will cut the voltage source. Thank you in advance
Thanks for telling. Tell how it progressis.
The Air purifier (Arduino Uno r3) will sense AQI data from the enivironment, then it will transfer real-time data to a monitoring and transmission unit (Arduino nano 33 iot) and then sending it to the arduino iot cloud. the monitoring and transmission unit will assess if the AQI is high or low. finally, the monitoring and transmission unit will automate the current regualtor adapter that is connected before the plug of the air purifier depending on the AQI level (High AQI = on current , Low AQI = the adapter will cut the voltage source)
"a picture is worth a thousand words"
Get it. Keep on the good work.
Interesting.
The UNO provides all the sensing and intelligence. Why do you want to turn it on and off?
There is no air puriifier shown.
It was my mistake in making the diagram. The purification unit is already an existing device actually, I just forgot to put the "purification components (uvlights, fans, cabin filters, etc.)" within the diagram. About the current/voltage regulator, we aim to reduce the purifier's power consumption in the smallest possible way. What we want is, after the purifier already did its job, it will send the sensor data to the monitoring unit, and then the monitoring unit will assess if the air quality index is tolerable or in a good condition, then the monitoring unit will sends signal to the adapter to cut the source so that the purifier can consume only the stored power in the battery and will enter "standby mode". We think of that concept instead of plugging the purifier directly to the outlet and running 24 hours.
How will your air purifier react to lower available power, meaning the voltage is lowered to some value?
So what use is a diagram that is wrong?
