Current sensor for AC the ACS712 or YHDC SCT-013-000

You didn't provide links so I just took the first Google match I found. The YHDC is not a sensor by itself, it's just a non-invasive clamp to be able to measure the current. You need additional hardware for that. The ACS712 is hall-effect-based linear current sensor chip that must be integrated into the circuit to be measured.

As you didn't specify your requirements we cannot give you a recommendation of which part to use. Where do you want to install that part? How do you plan to measure with it? What kind of current do you want to measure? What range is that current in? Do you control the circuit?
